Russell Pickett has 40 years of experience in the environmental wastewater field. He has an extensive background in industry, mining and municipal wastewater treatment, including experience in chemical, biological and equipment applications. Mr. Pickett also has over 16 years experience as an applied polymer chemist in water and wastewater treatment. Mr. Pickett has been a consultant to numerous engineering groups and chemical companies such as ENVIROCON and DuPont White Pigments and Minerals.
Mr. Pickett has worked on a wide range of wastewater projects, including Silica Microgel treatment in the meat processing industry and a wide variety of sludge dewatering projects. Mr. Pickett has also been project manager of and consultant to large sludge dewatering projects involving a wide variety of equipment, including geo-textile tubes and sludge dewatering chemicals. His work in applied polymer chemistry has involved field research and development of new types of water, wastewater and sludge dewatering coagulants and water soluble polymers for municipal, industrial and mining projects. Mr. Pickett also has an in depth background in biological treatment and holds the highest certification from the state of Tennessee for biological wastewater treatment. Mr. Pickett holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Texas A&M.
